How do u do ''scissors'' on a rail?

i had a problem with scissoring before but i just took a bit of pressure off my front foot to get comfortable with it.

what helped me with scissoring was learning switchups. I couldnt scissor before I could switchup, but once I could do switchups then for some reason scissoring came naturally for me and I could feel it better

if its what i think you mean, spread your feat, horozontaly and verticaly. dont be ashamed to stand on a rail in your local park just to get the feel.

That's the thing though. I couldnt scissor, but then I started doing some front swaps and while learning that, the scissoring came naturally. I don't know.. Maybe it's just me

Think of 'digging' your front foot's heel into the rail.

There's just about no way that you could stop your motion like that on a rail without gripping it, which would require scissoring, except absurd levels of abdominal strength.

thanks dude good picture can see what is needed now. prob gonna bail a few times looks pretty hard but i guess ill get used to it. cheers again
