How do people get so many posts?

it amazes me and i really want to know how. Do you sit around all day posting? Do all of it over time? No life? Some of you out there have so many? There is no hate in this forum i just want to know how you get so many posts. So tell me how
 
It's mainly summer and school that did it for me. Summer I racked up points hardcore just because I was always tired from soccer workouts that I never wanted to do anything but go on NS and dream of winter. And I have 4 classes where the internet is right in front of me and I don't pay attention. As I write this I should be completing a project for International Business.
 
Yeah, i only come here when I'm really bored...ive been a member since 2002 so I suppose 2000 posts isnt too extreme.
 
i mean in school i post like all the time, usually how i get my posts. or at night when im bored or something i post.
 
you know your addicted to NS when its the first place you go in the morning.

its 8 o clock in the morning and your already posting.. eli, its time for an intervention.
 
you've been a member for 2 months, you have 150 posts, so thats like 75 posts a month?i have been a member for about 4 years so lets say 45 months. 45 * 75 = 3375 psts. see its usually people have just been here for years and it accumulates... with the exception of the occasional post whore thats been here for less than a year and has 6000 posts.
 
Bahahahahaha! Yes, I am at fault for post whoring. The PWA classes really helped though, and I graduated 7 months ago. I since have not whored the forums.
 
some of us have a lot to say, a lot of us have been around some years. most of us come on here daily.
 
i dunno i post like a couple times a day i come home from school and directly go to NS and spend like 30 minutes and then go do homework or chill with my friends

not really, but I'm sort of addicted to NS and I'm at my computer a lot so...
 
i dont have too many but my post count is increasing pretty fast now that im injured and i cant even walk and when i can ski i just post stuff when im way bored overnight.
 
heres some quick arithmatic for you.

say you log on ns at least once a day. 1 post in a regional, 3 in NSG, and 4 in SG, is usually a standard login, unless you are really board. at this bare minimum that is 8 posts a day. 8x31 days in an average month=248 posts. 248x12 months in a year= 2976 posts in a year. This would pretty much dscribe me.

there are many members here that have been on since the very begining. i dont know exactly when that is, but 2002 is my approximation. that is 6 years of posting. that equals close to 18,000 total. then theres people like skiierman and snwbirdmilf, who just post a freakish amount (no offense). but if you ask me 8 posts a day is NOT a lot. i and for one usually exceed this 8 posts when procrastinating, and on lazy days off.

p.s. summer time on ns will really rack up your posts.
 
I really don't know. I take my computer to class all the time and ill often be on ns alot from the hours of 8-1 or 2 on weekdays.
 
An average of 3 posts a day over 5 years will do the trick.

Some people don't have many valuable things to contribute and pollute the forum with crap, hence their high post count. Don't consider getting your numbers up as some sort of goal.
 
It pisses me off when i see a member who joined like 2007 and has upwards of 1000 posts... Cough Steezyjibber cough.
