How do know when your not a gaper?

when you have more than 15 posts.......and genuinely stop sucking at skiing.

once a good skiier says "that was sick" or something along those lines to you. then your almost not a gaper anymore.
 
my thoughts exactly.....oh yeah, ur not a gaper anymore if you can bust out some talent with or without 2xl's..............(oh yeah, having more than 3 posts on n.s. unlike me, helps too)
 
????? what do you guys think about the kids that dont ski park? like the kids that say "i would never do that to my edges". or the kids that say "rails are not worth getting heart, thats why i dont do them", but they are good skiers everywhere else? are they gapers?
 
Nah, my buddy sheldon is like that and I ski with him a bunch. He rips hard on the mountain everywhere else. I think a gaper is someone who tries to fit in with the cool kids on the hill but just arent good. Those kids really piss me off. As long as you know the park well and dont stand in landings and shit, and dont try and pose I wouldnt call you a gaper. Gaper's not really based on ability cause then most of this site would be gapers.
 
when you have done gaperday at your mountain... or can get down the mountain without eating shit....or can ski switchjust a few
 
Yess I'm not a gaper anymore. Cause like 3 weeks ago Tanner told me how to get to chads gap from the bottom of alta (no lie, end claim) so word.
 
I can't wait till ski season, so I don't need to read every single post in these threads cus I'll be either skiing, eating, or sleeping.

But yeah, the best responses IMO were "when you don't need to ask", "when you stop stealing icons", and "when you know how to get to chad's gap fro the bottom of alta"
 
when you stopped getting sprayed by MFM, you have stopped being a gaper. Only Marc Frank Montoya can true tell what is gaper and what isn't. He is the all-knowing judge of wether you are a gaper or not, and if you are, the furious attack of snowspray upon your back will serve as a cold, wet, and painfull reminder of your gaperness.
 
whats bullshit? I bet you if you saw this guy you'd call him a gaper upon appearance. therefore he is a gaper. but you'd just look like a fag cause hes better than you at skiing
