How do I thicken my pants and make them less like parachutes?

My snowpants are really thin and like parachute pants which causes them to move around and flap a lot and not exactly retain there shape like harlaut cargos do. So I was thinking what if I took a thick fabric or something and lined the inside with it, would that work to make the pants less parachutey and more like thick snowpants? Is there anything else I can do? I’m still tryna keep them as baggy as possible.

Lol

Got a sewing machine? Get a pair of Ben Davis gorilla cuts and make a pattern out of them, and sew some up with cordura nylon canvas with the polyurethane coating on the back

Does there happen to be a tutorial or something on YouTube for this because although I do have a sewing machine, I’m not knowledgeable about this stuff at all

Lizard stuff pants are nice and stiff not parachutey at all love em

I had a similar problem when it was windy with my pants so I just wear my old virtikas underneath them and now they don’t flap very much at all

Wearing baggy sweats underneath that are made with heavier fabric seems to have helped me, can only really do this on colder days though. In my experience because of the extra material, when you’re going fast you’ll likely hear them flapping regardless unless you listen to music which can also help. Hope you can figure out something that works.

That’s odd, mine glide fine. I seen some garbage zippers while buying knockoff bags on 5th ave and these are quality. Try rubbing a bar of soap across the teeth. Should smooth em up. What do u mean about the fabric tho?
