So I'm selling something fairly expensive on eBay, I use paypal and am also accepting money orders. The problem is... I've heard of people canceling paypal payments with ease, and never sending the shit back.... how do I prevent this from happening? If I remove my bank account from the paypal after I receive and transfer the cash... does that protect me?

Thanks!

just make sure the buyer has good feedback for other things

iv been selling and buying things on ebay for 2 years and havent had any problems like that yet

anything listed below should raise a red flag when your on ebay

  • Low priced high-ticket items, like high-definition TVs, laptops, or jewelry — especially if there are multiple items for sale.
  • Brand-new sellers with no sales history.
  • Sellers requesting wire transfers for payment, or payment in foreign currencies.
  • Auctions that begin and end over a weekend, since eBay customer support is light during those days.
  • Seller telephone numbers or addresses that can't be verified.

just use paypal, if they cancel the payment paypal will get you your money back, it usually takes awhile. I sold my old phone for 150 on ebay to a guy with 0 feedback and who didnt speak decent english so i was sketched. after he sent the paypal payment i waited until i had deposited all the money into my bank account, and then removed all my cards and bank account from my paypal just to be safe, nothing happened tho it worked out.

may sure the guy is legit by seing how many things he has sold like if ur paying for something expensive be sure he has sold a lot of shit like over 500 items and read his comments and his feedback

prolly the most important if it seems like to good of a deal it prolly is
