Got some atomic punx for this season and found it impossible to butter. Does anyone have any tips on how to soften skis to make them more playful and buttery?

Whats a good din setting for butters, I believe mines currently 3,4 or 5 don't quite remember. Last time I did a butter a face planted..

same way you make your dick softer. strap on the boots, step into the bindings, and start watching gay porn (unless your into that and then do the opposite)

That's not how it works... dins are individualized for your height weight and ability. There's no "good" setting for butters, and a 3 will only be right for you if you weigh like 80 pounds.

sit on them

if you cut 1/4" deep lines perpendicular to the ski length in the butter zone, this will provide a softer flexing ski. i would recommend starting with cuts 2in apart for 12inches and trying that. then add more cut lines as necessary from there. the idea here is similar to cutting plywood to flex more for building skate ramps.

If you soak the whole ski in hot water for a day or two, it softens the core and they flex more. Did it a few years ago on a rippy big mountain ski and now they butter like fuck

Put em in boiling water, I usually do about 8 minutes or cook longer if you prefer softer pasta/ I mean skis. Trust me I'm a half decent cook/ I mean skier.

Those skis are fine for buttering. Any park ski is. You just need to learn to weight transfer to your tips and force the skis to bend. You can't just lift your heels and try to hold it.
