How do i make a kink out of pvc without catching while grinding?

either cut it at angles and grind it down, or make a detached kink

get a sander and sand it down. I have a trapazoid rail and i've never had problems catching an edge, so just grind it down with a sander or make the kinks separated(like on an up flat down, make the up section go higher than the flat, and make the down section start lower than the flat).
