How do I get style?

This is a horrible website to ask this question. Every answer is always something along the lines of “good vibes man kush man just have fun with your friends man”

ski a lot to the point where being on skis is second nature

ski moguls (in a lot of styles/speeds, not just with World Cup technique)

ski even more

1. Watch a ton of ski movies

2. Replicate their style

3. Find out you cant replicate their style or tricks

4. Become a ski instructor and work your way up to management

You gotta ride ON3Ps or Vishnus and wear mittens, track pants, scarf, fast glasses... Then do a lot of shuffles, land everything in the backseat and wave your arms about. You can finally be different just like everyone else.

You already have you're own style. No one can do stuff exactly the same. Even if you're doing the same tricks as someone else you will approach it differently and your body will move different.

Style is a symptom of an STD that's spread through the ski community through unprotected buttstuff. The term 'oozing style' didn't come from nowhere.

Find grabs that haven't really been done before, or you haven't seen the pros do that much.

Then add your own twist to tricks, afterbang in your own style, and invent new shit. Be creative.

First ya gotta get a little dirty. Then... no no. VinnieF is right. You need to participate in some unprotected butt stuff

Style will come along with just perfecting your tricks and makin em look steezy. Or u could just read steve stepps to success book.

Honestly style is one of my favorite parts of skiing. Individual style may not look “cool” but that’s the beauty and the fun of it. I think if you want to develop it faster, throw in some headphones and let your body go. I personally look like a jackass when I ski but my style still on point

It really depends on what skis your have. Last year was my 4th year and got icelantics mid through the year. I basically got so much more steezier.

This is really it, I go fast and try to fly as far as I can off little cattrack hits. Sure I look like a doofus, but I feel awesome doing it, especially when I land and then flap my arms down to go faster since I'm stoke on how fast I'm going. My legs are long and I'm not flexible so grabbing is difficult but I still try

Get comfortable in your skiing. Your first time sending a trick nervous as fuck will probably not look nearly as good as your 400th time doing it. Push your comfort zone and stay in shape. Balance is also pretty underrated. I know some people that live and die by slacklining, and claim it's the best way to get good at rails. To learn new swaps and spins you have to stay on the rail (unless you "swerve" out and pretend it was intentional)

Everyone expresses themselves differently by wearing the exact same thing

...if you know, you know
