How could McDonald's possibly think this was a good idea?

I can't begin to imagine all the grease and disgusting shit that would get on those ipads. This would make sense if it's from teh onion though.

Right because while I'm stuffing my face with disgusting food is exactly

when I want to meet and converse with a stranger who will most likely

be obese and not speak English.

yeah most of the people that hang around the mccdonalds near my house/school are crackheads, homeless, dealers, pimps, or prostitutes. and some highschool kids. its pretty fun. definitely some fun toothless folks to talk to.

Assuming said tablet being used is an iPad, I'm going to bring metal cutters and steal that shit.

this isnt real, it's an adverting exercise by a creative team from the netherlands called wonder years. it's something they've probably pitched to mcdicks.

my biggest criticism is the idea that the mcdonalds brand is "an inherent democracy". that's a pretty bold spin on what most of the civilized world would call "a global corporation that practices unfair labor, animal cruelty, and an unsustainable business model". esp. when this "inherent democracy" is enjoyed in places such as egypt, saudi arabia, and.. umm.. china.

but cheers to the wonder years for suggesting that mcdonalds become a hub for lower-income individuals, the obese, and minorities to share their misfortune on a global stage.

I think that the idea behind it is good and pretty cool. However there are way to many people that will find a way to mess with it and make me never want to go there again.

when i plan my day, i don't put in a slot for 30-45 minutes to sit in a mcdonalds to eat crap food and talk to random people.
