is the freestyle community that is out there pretty large in our society today, i see people who look like skiers all the time but im not sure if they are? u know what i mean...

The freestyle sking community is pretty small comparing to the hip-hop and punk community. It depends were you live: If you live in BC, there are a lots of skiers but not in Mexico. Anyways, people that are not involved in sking don't dress in ski companies.

^yeah. i live in NY, and me and my friend are the best at the school, and my friend got hurt, and cant freeski anymore, forever. its pretty slim, but once u get into vermont, and around bigger ski areas out east, the population goes up

yea but freestyle skiers dress in a way that kinda makes them stick out, i was just in Burlington this weekend and i def noticed people who looked like they snowboard or freestyle ski, its not that common where i live cause theres prolly noone who does it but when u go to a city im always bound to find some one who looks like they ski...... where in NY do u live by the way^

Freestyle skiing is tiny compared to most other sports. Hell, if curling can be in the Olympics, why can't skiing slopestyle and superpipe?

there's nothing like skiing onto a rail switch after some cool guys on their snowboarding have told you that skiing sucks, only to shut the hell up.

Oh wait on the other hand, I do want to get sponsored some day so maybe lots is better...

im always wearing at least one thing that distinguishes me as a skier...line shirts, belt buckles, hats, etc...

Um, I know of two other freeskiers in atlanta, bth of which are on this site. well, 1 is on it now. the only skiing stuff i have are a wicked shirt, redtape shirt and siver hoodie. Cause i have to buy everythin on line and my parents hate me buying stuff on there.

i cant take him[liam downey] seriously cuz his name reminds me of that downy bear from back when i was a kid -d loc

I don't deny there are bad things in the US right now, hell, 51% of the country to be exact. But god damnit, our country being fat is NOT a problem. I do't give a shit how fat people are. hell, fat kids are harder to kidnap, that means our country is safer.

Yah, I hear ya. A lot of times they may not be skiers but snowboarders, skaters, surfers and such.

I'm actually in NC right now and on my flight down I met two cool dudes who actually skated and snowboared that sat in my aisle on the flight.

The "action sports" community is growing very fast, and is getting very large. The freeski community is too, but itns't nearly as large.

Also, when you go to you local mountain, count the number of twin-tips, local mountains in NY it dosen't pass 5 or 6 including myself.

i dont think thier that common, even on mountains like i'll see a few, but almost always see more boarders in the park but if i see a guy riding switch down a blue cruiser i feel as if i should go talk to to him or her cuz i feel a connection w/ them

I try or usually just have that happen. Right now I'm wearing a shirt with a bunch of local NY and NE mountains and their vertical, from the shop I work at. Yesterday, I was wearing a Burton Castro cap. It usually just happens with people who are into their sport.
