How are Armada poles?

Poles are poles, they're all made out of metal and shit. Doesn't matter, steal rental poles..they're probably cheaper.

I usually swear by Amrada products, but a couple years ago i bought their poles and they broke on the first day i skied with them... They literally just snapped when I barely put my weight on them after falling. Granted it was probably my skiing ability that made them break, but i have had the same pair of Scott poles for the last 6 years and I have tried to replace them twice but they are the only ones that just don't break. I suggest going to a ski swap or thrift store and finding some cheap poles, or investing $ in some Scotts. Other than that poles are not worth it.

i got the JP vs. Julien poles and the teloscopic feature broke within a week, and the whole system that holds the baskes on snapped off after 2 months

I think they are ok. not sure what kind of aluminum they use though, if its a 7000 number, that's good, if its a 5000 number it will be light but break easier.

the armadas pretty much has replacible shafts except i dont think you can buy just the shaft. My friend has a two pairs of shafts and 1 pair of grips so if one snap he just puts the grips on the next shafts

ive had mine for several years now and they have lasted me. great poles.
but yea, poles are just poles.
im sure if i skied harder in the park i would have broken them by now, but i didnt use poles most of the time i was in the park last season anywho
