How are anthems for tall guy?

indeed

.hey

so I've been riding the jon olssons mojo 80's which i liked. I've never tried any other park ski but i would try a pair from the softer ones since I'm getting in buttering more and more. I still want to go for kickers with my new skis (not the huge ones) and love going switch.

I would really love the invaders but after reading feedbacks on those on forum they seem to be too soft for me not to mention their max length available. or maybe the anthems isn't a bad idea cause its wider?

Now im considering the atomic punx.

any other recommendations?

thanks a lot

cheers

Im 187lbs (means 84 kgs) and pretty tall (6,4ft).

i'm about the same size as you and i've got 178 anthems. i rode them all of last season and loved them

and what about disorderlys?

do you know what flex it has? it's 179 too but I'm kind of losing my hope I find a ski long enough but some softer at the same time.

idea?

the disorderlys are a little stiffer and the 179 will most likey be a little shorter than the anthems 178( lines measure a little long).

i'm not as tall as you but i am a bit heavier and i never felt my 178 anthems to be "noodley soft". in fact they surprised me at how well they handled outside the park... super fun ski for sure.

this is not true. I am very tall and a ski can be affected by how high your center of gravity is. It does affect it, not as much as weight does, but it still does.To the maker of this thread... I skis octolands and I found them to be to small. But I am 6'7" 200, so the differences could make a difference

I agree. anybody ever wonder why Thall and Dumont are like 5'7" or 5'8"? Shorter means easier to balance, which makes skiing easier. Taller people have a higher center of gravity, so a longer ski means much more stability. And holy shit, 6'7"!!

I do not like anthems at all though, Disorderlys, Blue Steele(might be spelled wrong), or Moment Reno Jibs are all better choices for everything, IMO.

i was just saying that as a general rule. i work at a shop and i cant stand when people hold the ski up to thier nose and say isnt this the right size?
