Housing for the U?

I'll be starting school down there this fall, and I wanted to know where is the best place to live. Any help would be nice.

dude, you're from draper!!! you live like less than a half hour away from the school. either stay at home and save the money, or take a day and walk around the campus. there are TONS of places to live within a mile or two of the U. Lots of hot places.

Yeah I live in Draper, but I want some kind of experience living away from home. Also, It would be nice to be around the social scene. Plus driving 20 minutes to and from school everyday would suck.

ha ha ha. ya true, the social scene is great. that's one thing i hate about utah. 15 minutes is too far to drive for most people. back home we had to drive a half hour just to go see a movie or go to the mall or go to a ski shop, and 45 minutes for me to get to work and *gasp* an hour and a half to go skiing.

well, that's enough ranting for me. I would say live in the dorms (if you find any you like) for the first year, then you will make plenty of friends and then move out the second year and viola, party central.

Pretty much any of the dorms at the U are nice if thats what you are talking about, some are like suites and haev kitchens and a little living room. Those would be sick to get but i think they are harded to get or reserved for upper classmen. Anyway just drive up there you can get a tour of the dorms and check out the one you want. If you are talkign about living off campus then i cant help you houses go up for rent every week.
