Hey m&a lately I have been wanting to get into house music because dubstep is just really annoying me. So I would love it if you posted your favorite house songs and downloads and such to point me on the direction for my quest to get tons of house music! Thanks guys in advance because i know you will deliver :D

yes, or constantly bug him about sending you music until he does. Don't worry if hes mean at first he's protective about his music, but you can crack him
 
If you're getting bored of dubstep listen to Rusko's new album and Skream's album Outside the Box:

And check out the channel "Get Darker TV" on youtube. Lots of good dubstep.

Also check out the Essential Mix, its a program on BBC Radio One. New 2 hour or so mix every week from a well known producer/DJ/electronic music person. A lot of house DJs come on the show so its definitely worth listening.

I don't understand how people can listen to that kind of house... (pretty much everything anyone's posted).

Deep- and tech house are fucking awesome though, but that hard trancy shit... Not for me.

tech is alright

progressive is def my fave. to each their own.
 
Guess no one digs the actual progressive, forward thinking stuff that i posted. Fair enough, if you prefer cookie cutter glow-stick rave house then that's your prerogative, no hate.

Dig that list dude but Synapse Dynamics is more of a prog trance kinda tune, one of my favorites of all time. OP, are you looking for specifically house or are you trying to expand your horizons in electronic music?
