Hotham backcountry

Anyone ski at Hotham? do you know any unmarked back country runs? there is one just down the hill as you get off orchid chair towards spargos which has a little drop at the start. is avalanche valley any great?

mmmmmmmmmmm I don't really ski Hotham that often and I'm not totally sure of the area ur talking about. Is the entrance to the area before the trail into Spargos away from the blue runs that go back to the bottom of the orchard? I might be thinking slackcountry

The "extreme" area aint really "backcountry" is it.....

yeh your thinking of the right area, and your right its more slack country. its marked unpatolled on the map but yeh i would like some real backcountry this year. thinking of going down the back of mt loch. maybe next year i am thinking of hiking out to Feathertop and camping then ski it the next morning.
