I've been looking into an "in house" job for next winter at a hotel in either the Alta area or Park City. Just means that you live at the hotel for the ski season while you work there. Anybody have any experience with this or know of any good hotels that offer this employment option. Im also not locked in on these 2 locations as of right now so any suggestions outside of Utah are also welcome.

honestly, from watching co- workers experiences at the hotel where i work, i would strongly advise against living where you work... put it this way: when you stumble home drunk late one night with some fat chick, do you really want your co-workers (and potentially one of your bosses/managers) being the first witnesses? i've lived in old town PC for two seasons now working as a bellman/valet, skied a shitload, paid pretty expensive rent and still somehow managed to save a decent amount of money while partying more than i probably should... go to one of the luxury hotels (stein, regis, montage, waldorf, etc) and get a gratuity-based swing shift (2/3pm-11pm waiter,bartender,bellman,valet,etc), ski hard, party harder, get money, fuck bitches, etc etc you get the idea... have fun and good luck!
