HOt Waxing

It's easy.

1. Read on the wax package of hot the iron should be.

2. Turn on the iron and turn it up to the desired temprature.

3. Put a strong rubber band on ur bindings so the stopper shit gets out of the way.

4. Hold the iron over ur ski and drip wax over ur ski.

5. Once u have dripped wax on the ski iron ur skis like u would iron a shirt. Tip: Iron slowly over but not to slow coz then u will burn ur sole.

5. Do the same on the other ski.

6. When u are done on ski n0. 2 go back to ski no.1 and get a sickle and drag all the wax off. it doesn't matter if u don't get all the wax off. it will go off by it self when u ride.

7. Do the same on ski no.2

8. Go ride

There u have it. Message me if u don't understand anything

you could also buff it out with cork or a scotch brite pad if you want to be really special

Dont be like everyone else...be origional

if you not using green wax fo really cold cold cold temps leave you skis outside for like an hour or two so they get totally cold. Then scrape, then brush and theyll be even faster

how strong a monkey is?'

if you want just the basic setup like i have, just get a cheap waxing iron for 30 bucks at a ski shop, all around hot wax that is good in all temps, and a scraper. you plug the waxing iron is...touch the wax bar to the iron and drip wax onto the ski about an inch or more apart. go down the left side of the ski dripping wax then the right side so basically you have 2 columns of wax droplets. then take hte iron and rub it around on the ski to spread the wax, dont ever leave it in one spot for too long. then after all the wax is spread out, let it harden for at least 30 mins. overnight is the best so you can let it soak into the base. then scrape most of it off with the scrapes so theres no bumps. your set

^Once it gets hard, and its not warm, it will not portrude into the base. Go to a pawn shop or goodwill, get a cheap iron for 5 dollars. Biggest key in ironing it on is to

KEEP THE IRON MOVING. Dont set it in one spot for more than about 1/4 second

also make sure youve got a big ass dropcloth, or work in an area that doesnt matter if you get it messy, because waxing makes a fucking mess.

Yeah and dont drop hot wax on cold skis. Let your skis warm up for an hour or so untill the bases feel room temp. If you pour hot wax on cold skis you'll prolly crack your bases.

We pay our debt sometimes.

I scrape right after on each individual ski to get the dirt out while it is still warm then repeat and let it sit for a while and scrape, the scotch brite then nylon brush for groovy stability.

The first two ways work. Ive done it this way before too, it worked alright. (do for each ski)

1. clamp down bindings so brakes are out of the way

2. take the hot wax, while at room temp, and rub it on your bases as thick as you want

3. put sheet of aluminum foil over iron with a rubber band, turn iron on and set to correct temperature

4. after iron heats, go like you're ironing a shirt on you bases, fast enuogh to melt the wax evenly, but not so fast it doesnt melt or so slow u burn it.

5. let cool

6. scrape and such stuff to smooth out any imperfections.
