so the other day my earth science teacher told me that hot water freezes faster than cold water.
He said this can be possible because evaporation is a cooling process and the snow when shot in the cold air does this rapidly and freezes quicker.He also told me that that is how the resorts do it.
I hope somebody with more expearence can shed some light on this because with how big of a task it would be for resorts to heat all the water they use for snowmaking i have to say im more than skeptical.
