HOT BRANDS

What do you guys think is the hot shit to have? What do you guys want but have a hard time finding? What do you wish your local shop had? Saga? Jiberish? Amplid? Nike 6.0? Dragon? Stuff like that?

Amplid, Jiberish, Surface, Liberty, Full Tilt, Armada, Oakley outerwear
what I really wish was that one store had all of that, I have 4 stores around me (within a 45 min drive) and they all have some of that (besides Amplid, Jiberish, Surface) but none of them have all of it, which means I have to drive all over the place to compare/buy what I want.

It can work if the density of newschoolers is thick enough, but there are only a few places in the world with that kind of skiing population. Most people still get their stuff over the internet.

Yeah, basically what Jibij was, if I had one around me (while they were open) I would be stoked. Too bad it's no more.

lethel descent, troyan gloves, sub industries clothings, jibersih, saga, ninthward

basically the smaller boutique brands of skiing gear. skis, boots, gear.

Theres a new ski shop that opened TODAY near my house, im stoked about that cause they still dont have all their stock, but they have full tilts and other sick brands.. so im excited about the brands that will come in soon.

i dont have a local shop but it'd be cool if the shop closest to me carried full tilt, ninthward, amplid, and surface.

man, that sucks i loved jibij. i will admit though there prices were a little high but they were legit.

This is the exact reason why I want to make a fair amount of money, My chances of going pro are very slim. So I ask myself: "How can I give back to the industry?" The answer seemed obvious, do an online only JIBIJ replica, still sponsoring skiers, while being able to hook up skiers around the world. To open a shop like that, you need money. I have been asked why I bother taking AP instead of just skiing.

1. I want a disposable income

2. I'd rather be able to afford a second home or many vacations

3. So I can give back to the industry

One of my life goals is to change the world somehow, if I change the skiing industry, I would say I had an effect on the world, and fulfilled my life goal. Of course, I am going to need a solid income. Hopefully I can become some sort of doctor/engineer. Making $250,000/yr. doesn't sound too bad to me.

I would definitely build a shop carrying what you guys want, not a shop that puts and extra $50,000 in my pocket. I would use the income to support the shop and hopefully put the rest towards comps and progressing freeskiing, helping get some guys out there. THAT, is my goal in life.

well id say thats a pretty awesome goal. hopefully you can reach it. id love to do the same, but i think id rather live poorly and ski everyday that i possibly can. i live to ski. and hopefully i can find a way to give back to the industry. maybe by coaching or something

i wish my shop carried saga, full tilt.. ec headwear. i have to shops in my town one carries jiberish and candygrind and spacecraft and all sorts of good stuff and the other carries burton, airblaster, special blend, volcom, dc, analog, neff... im almost squared away in the outerwear category.

I'm down.

For real though, it would be great. Chances are, I would let some kid on here develop the website too, pay them fairly well, and it could help for college or their career.

meh, evo has lost its feel. I know its hard to tell but knowing alot of people who work for them and have worked for them, the company has become much more corporate. Its not the same as it used to be.
It's no jibij

NS should branch out. Instead of just being an online forum they should launch their own online store that carries many of these things people are talking about. You have all the market research you could ever need into what kids are looking to buy and with the amount of time people spend on this site I bet they wouldn't have a problem spending their money here to get the harder to find stuff. Shit, tie it into the forum as well with symbols next to your name for different levels of spending money through NS and im sure kids would buy things through here just for the forum status. Id love to be a part of something like this.

I don't have a local ski shop. The closest one (45mins) carries basically only Spyder and Salomon, and they only get some cool stuff. Last year for example, they had the Salomon (suspect?) gloves, the ones that match the gsuit if you get them in red and white. But no one in the store had even heard of the g suit. I don't know if they carry Venom stuff. The new Killer suit is ugly anyway though its a huge step down form last year.

DUde, If you would be shipping to Sweden, if u had an online store, I would be all over you. Trying to get a sponsor too tho. Hope this will be reality

Ed Hardy are you fucking kidding me? The only people that will buy that shit are the meatheads from staten island. Shits weak. Ed Hardy was a scummy thief anyway.

Surface, L1, Airblaster, ElmCompany, Special Blend, Westbeach, Analog (not the stupid stuff that everyone has) Skis that're good that come in mid lengths (173, 174) I'm sick of having to pick between 169 and 182 (skis don't have to be that long.)

I would ship around the world. No matter where in the world you are, chances are, you have the same love for the sport, can't hook just North America up. Sadly, it will be AT LEAST 10 years before this can become a reality, and I need to do well in school and have a successful career.
