Hot blue bird day and slush or really cold grey day and powder?

well, where i come from i would much rather have slush, i guess it depends how slushy your talking, is it like mostly water and you have alot of puddles around, or is it like just wet snow.

i'm not skiing on anything besides slush and ice. and slush is slow so how about night time with super cld fast snow. it's all lit over here too so thats all good.

Would say powder but. . . . I would have to say park with slush because I had the best time this year last week skiing slush with my friends. (not that EC got much pow this season)

gonna have to go with the bluebird. can't say i've ever had a real pow day in my life, but i have had plenty of thoroughly enjoyable bluebirds.

This thread is ridiculous. Gray bird pow day any day. I guess 85% of my ski days are gray bird/nuking pow days so iv got a slight bias.

im from the east and fuck that. pow days will forever beat slush. that is when they happen. which this year was like once every 5 weeks or so. sadly...

gray day pow days are awesome becuase the snow doesnt get wrecked by the sun.

assuming that its not overly foggy, i like storm riding more than blue bird pow days.

What is this powder you speak of? I've heard other people talk about it and have always wondered what it is.

i've only skied on more than 8" of fresh 2 or 3 times in my life, but i have managed to have fun days in awful freezing weather and ice, so im gonna go with pow no matter how cold or grey it is

even though i like to try new tricks in powder for park i have to say slush and sun this is also great filming but when i just want to ski powder is awesome but overall slushy sun is what want

dis. not that i don't enjoy a slushy spring day in the park. but most definitely this

Obviously I'd choose pow first, especially with the season we had. I think my second choice would be blue bird, not hot and not slushy but thats just because ive been skiing slush for 6 weeks now ha

I'd choose bluebird slush over an average pow day, say 6-10 inches, but anything over a foot or more id choose a pow day. Doesnt get any better than that

hot = 40 then yes if any higher than that I would want a cold grey day. I never feel like trying anything on new days because it hurts when I smack the ice :(

Both can be fun and it obviously depends on how I feel on any given day, but I'd say 8 times out of 10 I'd answer powder with bad weather. Storm days are the shit, it just keeps getting deeper all day.
