Horstman T-bar and Blackcomb summer skiing

does anyone know if Whistler Blackcomb has plans to put the T-bar back or add a new chair up Horstman glacier in the near future? They said summer skiing would be back for summer 2021, given that they are allowed to open by the because of the virus and I also hate having to traverses over from jersey to 7th to ski the couloir

Will the glacier even be open this summer? I mean it can't be much of a moneymaker. I would think that they'd just focus on sightseeing and mtn biking. Would love to ski the public park again though

Glacier has receded too much to put in a lift where Horstman tbar was. Momentum is still planning on hosting camps this summer is what I've been hearing; but no official word on anything yet.

i just remember seeing articles on here and freeskier etc. about how they had some plans to make the glacier bigger with some advanced snow making techniques.... i would assume that would be in a similar development plan re: lifts, thought it was worth an ask ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

not really too worried about it i'm not canadian and probably won't get back up there for a realllyyyyy long time
