Horrible iPhone 4s battery life

Do any iPhone users know what their average battery life is, because mines been shit

I didn't take screenshots friday or saturday, but here's the past two days

both days I had brightness at ~25%, with blutooth/wifi turned off and I only did light browsing/texting/Siri (lol) and literally 5 minutes of Fruit Ninja...

I honestly feel like my old shitty iP3G got better battery life then this, and my brothers has 25% as I type this and has been using it fairly heavily all day...do I have a defective battery on my hands?
 
i have the 4 not the 4s but if you use wifi instead of 3g if your in wifi spot it is actually better for the battery,3g uses more. but that is horrible battery life. maybe you got a bad one, i would talk to apple

 
do you have all your apps closed when your done using them? if you let them stay on it rapes your battery
 
your next few (3 or 4) charges... charge overnight with the wall charger.

When i get a new camera or somehting. im make sure i charge overnight then run it dead and repeat a few times before i do shit 50%-90% charges
 
Its the 5th time charging now since I plugged it in when it died after that last screenshot. Every one of those charges has been from 0% (dead) --> 100%, I never do shit charges

iPhone multitasking =/= battery killer, I didn't see any drop in battery when I jailbroke my old 3G

 
I knew someone would mention it...

and the nearest Apple Store to me is an hour away in Boston, is it worth it to drive down to talk to them in person/get an exhange in store or should I call and have to deal with sending my phone in through DHL (gay)
 
I had the same problem when I first got my iPhone 4. I just took it to an apple store and they replaced it in a second. I'd say call them first to make sure it won't be a complete waste of time.
 
I don't have the 4s, and I love my battery life. I only have to charge it like every three days. Currently it's been 12 hours since my last full charge, and I have 75% battery.
 
in my OP I said it was ~25% the whole time.

At this point its clear my battery is defective and I'm going to make the trip down to Boston this weekend to see what the Geniuses can do about it
 
. If you upgraded from an old phone, theres an error with the email updating. You gotta delete your email account if you've added, and turn off your phone, then re add it when you restart
 
i charge mine while sleeping and can get 2 days no problem with mine, what are you doing with it and how often do you use it?
 
how good was your service? if you're ever on extended or have low bars it drains the shit out of your battery
