I saw someone at Mammoth on the flat part of the rail, then he hopped over the downkink part and landed on the flat again and kept doing the rail just fine.

yep now that i think about it people have gapped from a flat to a flat over a little down kink, so im gonna try that this winter on a perfect rail to try it on, it will be awesome, but i think it would be a while before i gap the flat part of a rail (going from a downslope to a downslope)
