Hood Spring 2k19

Gonna be there from around may 8th-20th. Going in on an airbnb with a friend and looking for 1-2 other people to keep the cost under $50 per night, message if interested (friend and I are both 21)

Spring is here!! Get over here, the snow is good(been a killer season) temps are climbing but the snow should be here for a while if the temps don’t get to hot too quickly. Good time of year to be in Portland, downtown festivals(don’t feed the bears), good beer, good weed, good food, Pacific Ocean is an hour away. Could get a good deal on an ABnB this early there.

Should I get a pass to timberline or just stick with my season pass at bachelor?

If you make it up to Tline twice before the end of May you will get your moneys worth.

That’s true but it’s still money and I’m a bit tight at the end of the season

Agreed, stick with the Bachelor pass, come up to Tline with some buddies in the middle of summer.

Go for it. Will exchange showers for rides to the mountain. Also, anyone know how far away are the nearest campsites are to timberline lodge? Probably gonna camp a few nights

Camping is literally minutes away. I don’t think they will let you camp in the parking lots but just drive down the road towards Government Camp and there are spots along the road. The abnb you are looking at is only about 20 mins from Tline, a little farther down the mountain and that area has a ton of camping, you may need to get a Forrest pass to camp in some of the locations up there and you shouldn’t need the sno park pass in May but it wouldn’t hurt to check Mt Hoods website for what passes are needed. You will probably find yourself hanging out at gov camp in the evenings anyways, it has a few hotels and hangout spots where people chill. Portland is about 45 mins from the mountain. Let me know if you got any questions, happy to answer
