I fancy myself quite the speedy boi on skis. Gonna be splitting my time this winter between Brighton and Solitude, and one of my favorite runs to zoom down is Woodlawn, right down the gut of Honeycomb Canyon. If you’re skiing Solitude and think you can beat me down, let’s race! Just PM me what day you’ll be there. We’ll just start at the top, and first one to the honeycomb return chair wins. If you beat me I’ll buy you a beer.

Any named run at solitude playboy. You realize we’re talking top to bottom tho right? If you want to beat me straight down you gotta bomb the hell out of every steep ass drop before you come into the sub degree blue squares. And unless you decide to catch me on one of the few days honeycomb ever gets groomed it’s big bumps for days bud. Just haven’t ever skied with anyone who can keep up straight-lining steep bump runs like I do. Good on you if yer the dude, you get a beer.

cause woodlawn aint gonna do it for me after 2+ decades of sillytudes

and might as well skip the hc return lift go og and see whose got the speed to run the flats of the return trail back to eagle

or up egp down to the sol bright and back to smokerise

fuck beer

bring an ounce of skanky dank or stay home
 
Like I said, any named run. Pictures are for skiers who stop, I don’t fuck with that shit. If you want the proof name a run and race me on it.

2+ decades there is impressive, I’m sure you know the mountain better than I do. I still don’t think you’ll beat me from the top of any chair from the bottom of any chair.

A beer is plenty enough a prize, aside from the joy of winning. Trust me, you’ll be stoked if you beat me.

sunset down back outta snake to dog lake

down and into mollys

id do that for a top shelf bloody bet

but no im not gonna waste prime skiing time

racing on piste thru overskied moguled terrain that jerrys frequent

either put yur big boy off piste tall t on

or find somebody who likes to ski the meh to race
 
I don’t know any of those places, but sure dude. I don’t care if it’s on or off piste, I’m fast as all fuck either way.

let’a do first week of March. Gives me time to get to know the area.

well yeah theres a lotta really sick lines in the bcc

woodlawn and the clusterfuck of humanity shitty shaped 2xfall line moguls we call warren miller

so aint sick as hell

they suck

although removing the lower crystal point gate and creating that shit show

was one of the best moves sillytude evarz made

as now at least if you take the time to traverse out to no mans land or crystal

it skis well top to hc valley floor without an iconic jerry traverse thru the bottom 1/2

I mean I have a riot top to bottom the whole way down that run, and on busier days I just stay to the sides and bop through the trees. The trees to skiers left of warren miller are *chefs kiss* very fun. If you go fast enough (fast as me) you can string together a bunch of super flowy airs on this side hit and that. I get liking the terrain that takes more work to get to, fighting crowds sucks. But if you pick the right line all kinds of terrain can be a blast.

me and my crew are pretty damn good at it always git our share and have plenty of time to stop and take a few shots

























for me after a bakers dozens soliseasons of employment

aint much terrain there i aint skied in as good as it gits conditions so i gots plenty of time to stop and snap some stokes
