Dude, I emailed some marketing people at contour several years back and wrote a nice letter about why they should give me a free camera, and they ended up giving me a 50% discount. (I was broke, a student, pursuing filmmaking, ect)

Also, you have an Instagram. Therefore, you have either an iPhone/iPod/Smart Phone. I'm sure that if you can afford that, you could afford a GoPro.
