I was thinking I haven't seen much news on the homepage recently, so I go over to the news page...There's so much stuff in there that never makes it to the home page. I don't think it can ever compete w the vids, pics, etc. There's a cool interview w candide that has 75 views and it came out yesterday...

Is there a way to make news stand out more on the homepage? Like a +10 for a news article is a +30/40/50 for a vid or picture? Seems like people are less likely to upvote an article vs a vid or pic.

Tell your friends. When you see something good, share it on FB and tell people to upvote.

Start a good discussion about it.

Being involved and involving others is the key. Look at today, that Atomic thing is pinned to the top.

Actually better than that... write good news. Every time a news article that people really give a flying fuck about gets posted, it makes it right to the top very quickly.
