Homemade rope tow

Okay so I'm posted up at my.familys farm and there's a field I'm lookin at with a gentle slope I figure I could put some pvc on but I'm mad lazy and hiking is too much work.

So I'm thinking I could cook up a homemade rope tow. Take a lawn mower or something and hook a rope to it.

Anyone done something like this?

Sometimes the jank way is best. Take the wheel off a quad and put a pully wheel on the hub. Then park it at the top of the hill.
