just go to a ski shop and get a normal $30 iron, they are all the same. then get a bar of hot wax, melt it against the bottom of hte iron and drip it down the ski. i usually make the droplets about an inch apart and go down one side and come back the other, so 2 columns of wax droplets. then take the iron and rub it on the skis and spread the wax around. dont leave the iron in 1 place, keep it moving. then let it cool for at least 30 mins. overnight is best. then scrape it with one of those plastic scraper dealies and thats it

if u get lost at all wen doing it you can ask were ever you buy your iron, but waxing is real easy, n once u get decent at it, its alot better then using one of those machines for $40

can i use a regular iron? I dont care if i clog up the holes cause this i dont need this iron anymore

short skies suck !

You can't get hurt skiing until you fall

Wrap a bandana or something around the iron if your using a clothing iron. the lod wax will fill in the holes and collect dirt and shit, then every time you wax your skis, the dirty wax will rub into your bases, which is no good.

One important step that has been missed is to scrape excess wax of before waxing and clean your bases if you dont use that fancy base cleaner just use lighter fliud and get a brush if you want to go uber fast.

get soft wax for spring snow, hard wax for colder snow. scrape before you wax, and brush after you scrape the second time.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
