Anyone addicted to home theater/sound quality? I've been fooling around with my speaker setup/reciever for awhile, I find that my best sound quality and loudness comes from an extremely unlikely setup. 2 Optimus car 6x9's in boxes on each channel (totals 12 speakers) w/ 2 bass shakers (they produce low pitched shaking for a more realistic effect) in the couch, and 2 10 inch subs behind the couch. I would have never thought that these older Optimus 6x9's would be so good, but they outdo almost every other speaker setup I've checked out.

nice setup...i've got 2 18' subs and two 8' speakers for djing in my room, in my studio I've got some nice tannoy reveal monitors to hear the truth while i'm producing music.

have phun within it...

my set up sucks, i have psb high fidelies(sp) and they are pretty loud but nothing special, in my room i have haybrook 10's and tweeters and haybrook 5's and tweeters both hi-fi (i have not subs) i want to get JBL 100's if i can find them, they are SO LOUD. but i am goind to look for a sub right now, any suggestions.

got a pair of polk towers and a pair of smaller polk monitors for surround, and also a kenwood 15' sub all hooked up to a harman kardon.......it's extra loud but i used to have a 2700 watt carver sub box with two tens that i blew after three days of auditory rape--that shit was killer

ya, I'm not sure what speakers and stuff I have, but we have two setups going on- one downstairs, then one upstairs. But when I go to other people's houses or if I watch tv and movies up in my room, I miss the quality sound and stuff that I get with one of those two rooms.
