If you need more lady park girls I can point you in the right direction, my best friend still lives in Columbus and goes to mrm pretty often and she kills it! Plus the other girls still on ski team at osu, they're a super fun group of people!

I moved up there from Knoxville and didn't learn to snowboard until I was a senior in high school (09-10 season). I forced my boyfriend at the time to take me to MRM and teach me, which worked out well cause I fell in love and now I ski, snowboard, and do adaptive!

I'm a 5th year senior at UC so I'll be home in Columbus for all of our winter break...hoping that MRM opens soon or I'll be spending every free day back at PNS

Oh that's awesome! I heard they were going to try to get the guns going soon, but who knows. On the other hand, they've always been open by Christmas so hopefully it's the same this year. You just missed my visit home, but look up Ohio State Ski and Board Team on Facebook, and there should be plenty of people going up from Columbus! Just tell them Erika sent you haha

Will do! My best friend goes to Ohio State so I bet she knows some of them. She's transplanted from the South like me so she's not a great skiier (yet)...but I'm teaching her :)

Oh that's great! You should definitely have her check it out, they get discounted passes to MRM, lots of carpooling and everyone is super friendly. One of my best friends from team had never actually skied before, we convinced her to join and she got her first pair of skis last year, this year she's going to Colorado! So if she wants some extra help when you're not there! Also you should add me on Facebook and it'll be wayy easier than me annoying everyone in this thread! haha

I just left to go back to NH for the week because I start school next monday! I may be up friday AM to shred though!!
