how hard is it to build and maintain a small distillery?
-and-
are there any other ways to make your own alcoholic spirits? i havent done any researching, it just crossed my mind during chemistry....

" i havent done any researching"

well thats a great reason to start a thread on a ski forum, filled with 14 year olders that have no idea about making whiskey.

I don't know much about making whiskey but I feel like it'd be simpler to buy it since most whiskey's, bourbons and the like require some aging time.

I do know you could always make grain alcohol but then you'd have to worry about making ethanol instead and killing yourself when you drink it.

I'd just google how to distill, I did it in High School science class and we used the type of distillery where you created a vapor and then diffused it through water and bam, alcohol!!!

So in closing I'd try making vodka instead of Whiskey but if you figure it out let me know because making my own whiskey would be fun.

never made whiskey, but ive made 40 proof drinks by fermenting cranberry juice and grapefruit juice, just gotta put yeast in a ottle and let it sit. google for better instructions
