Holy shit pollard is skiing on snowboards

its kind of a progression, i mean some years ago, anything over 90 was considered super fat.

we will see what there is going to happen...

First off, pollard has always used salomons. that is his binding of choice. second, they are too wide for brakes. from what i hear though, pollard usually doesnt ride with brakes. its just not his thing. its not recommended for the rest of us though since we ski around peopole. he skis uncharted places, so he doesnt need to worry about a runaway hitting someone. also, those can be skied inbounds. there is nothing physically preventing you from riding them inbounds, unless you dont have that wide of a stance. they are a very different feeling from regular skis, but different isnt bad. a lot of ppl like the surfy, loose feel of them. freeskier even said in their review that the prophet 130s were very fun inbounds. sure, they are meant for pow, but nothing is preventing anybody from riding them inbounds except for their stance, and ice of course. they arent designed to edge and carve, so you cant expect them to ride like that. you just need to get used to the surfy loose feel. hell, you may prefer that feeling over regular skiing. its all about getting used to their different performance.

yea i feel like its making skiing alot mor eliek snowboarding (less manoueverable, surfy etc.) i think its pretty cool...kind of like spats

man those are sick but that is just rediculous. those are the skis u want when u get three feet of freshies though aha

"G-Funkenstein - squash tail standard

The future is here. The widest ski ever made, this ski is our choice for a powder day. The reverse sidecut and rocker give you unparalleled control and stability in ALL sorts of soft snow conditions and having the widepoint in front of the boot tip creates a ski that you can be super aggressive on and stomp airs better than anything else you can click into."

unless he has a special ski, the new elizabeths for next year are like a 108 or 110, not 150 waist while the sir francis bacons by eric pollard are even bigger than those skis at a 115 waist

ok the sir francis's are dope but those are just outta hand if you cant put brakes on them i doubt they will realease them because thats considered "unsafe"

They are too huge for any ammount of snow. I have a pair of ar5s and yesterday there was 2ft yes 2ft of fresh at breck and they floated just fine in more than 3ft of powder. sure my seth pistols feel better in powder but if your saying you need a 150mm waist to ski powder then you should switch to snowboarding. Sure Pollard is sick but he is the only person who would need anything close to that because he skis switch in ft of pow. Oh ya anyone remember what line said about the 130 prophet. "We can float Rossie Odonnald in 4 feet of Blower." Thought that was funny.

dude i rode pannieland for two weeks this year and my mates have been there all season they just bought two pair of KINGSWOODS which are 145 at he waist and they rock em every day....plus because they run a demo shop they have the choich of practically every high performance pow ski on the market so no they arent to fat it just makes skiing powder sick coz you can like snowboarding surf it and its epic...
