I'm going to be getting a cystoscopy next month. For those of you don't know what it is:

im freaking out, i don't know if i should have them use local anesthesia or not, because that would mean injections. its going to be traumatizing
 
i'm gunna go in for an STD check soon. apperently they stick a swab up your dick? christ. yours is worse though, i'm just more conserned about my dick than yours.

I see that and all I think is "Where is the nearest anesthetic and who's arm do I have to bite off to get it?"
 
Just try not to think about them messing up and slicing the inside of your urethra, or the incredible pain it would cause while urinating for a while. I mean...what?
 
ask for anesthesia you fool. If you are scared of needles, think of situation.

1. Go sober and have something shoved up your dick.

2. Get drugged and not give a fuck, at the price of having a needle in you.
 
damn, fuck that. every time you piss now it wont have any power. kind of like a garden hose with no nozzle, and you have to put your thumb on the end to concentrate the spray. good luck though man

I had a bladder infection when I was 3 and had to have that done. For some reason they couldnt numb me and it was absolute agony, the worst pain imaginable. Deff get it numbed dude, the needle will only hurt for like 10 seconds.
 
Vibes. That's terrible. I have a friend who moved to the States from Canada, and they had to stick a metal swab much like that one right up thur to see if he was bringing any illnesses into the country.

SHIT'S FUCKED, and I don't ever wanna go through that.
 
if it's only the little metal end that's going in it will hurt but won't be too bad. a local should be fine. that still sucks tho and i would never want that done to me but goodluck
 
fuck.... that actually sucks so much. When I had surgery in Japan that was the first question i asked whether i was going to wake up with a tube sticking out of my dick

no. not good. not good at all. definitely like a morphine drip and as much nitrous as it takes to make you pass the fuck out
 
You are gonna need some heavy painkillers. Preferably getting knocked the fuck out. I had to have a catheter while i was on some light mophine and percocet. Even then the pain was probably just as bad as my appendix bursting which put me in the hospital for that in the first place. Oh and just a hint after you get it done don't have sex for awhile. If you thought peeing stung after you get it done that hurts way worse.
 
I got cathed 3 times in a day after my surgery and it hurts a ton when its in there, but after its fine. At least for me it was, and i had it done 3 times that day. I was on oxy and morphine when i got that though...
 
dude ull be fine .. i had catherders when i had surgery and it wasnt a big deal. so stop bitching and everthing will be fine.. and they prob wont put u under either cuase the is alota work for such a little part of you
