This might be a bit older, but I think its worthy to see.

I somehow just developed a strong hate for most chinese people (no offense if youre chinese), because I think this vid just shows their mentality.

I have no clue if I am allowed to post something like this here, or if it is "to brutal" or something, just thought I want to share this...

..the hell kind of world is this. no wonder aliens haven't made contact with us yet. they're watching what we do to each other and flyin right the fuck past
 
OP I know what you are saying in regards to the asian or chinese mentality. It is so different and I don't consider myself a "hater" of them, their culture is just so drastically different, their mindset, their overall personality is just so mind bogglingly different it's hard to even be able to like them. It's not stereotyping its a fact of cultural differences. But in this case of this little girl I would not chalk it up to asian mentality but rather chalk it up to Human mentality. I don't know if you have ever heard of kitty genovese. But she was stabbed to death in new york in the sixties near her apartment complex. People heard her yelling for help yelling that she had been stabbed some even watched it transpire and they just shut their windows and blinds. The man who stabbed her left and came back about ten minutes later also it took quite some time before anyone called the cops and she died en route to the hospital. And there are sooooo many more cases of this, this one is just very well known. So as depressing as this may seem this isn't culturally defined but rather defined by us as a species. Messed up for sure.
 
I know what you are saying, but I think this isnt the only explanation. I havent yet heard of any other countries that will kill newborn children if they are girls. I mean that is a result of chinese politics and I do think that shows us some of their mentality.

They just dont really give a fuck.

And once again, I am sure not a hater or anything, but a (at least in my opinion) pretty open minded, tolerant guy, but stuff like that just gets me going.

Its just not possible for me to get into my mind how some stuff over there can happen. And I do think that, if in a german city (cant speak of anything else), if someone gets run over by a car, truck whatever, at least the other cars wouldstop, someone would call the police/ambulance and try to help the person.

In that vid, there is like noone even looking at whats happening. And I do think that you can see the mentality there. Its a difference if someone is beeing stabbed, because trying to help there could get youreself into big trouble and could do more harm then good.

But I think the driver of the first truck definetly saw the girl there and he didnt even make an attempt to try and stop.
 
holy shit this is insane. Fucking feel bad for her. Ran over by car, car runs over her once more, people not giving a flying fuck.
 
The thing here is not completely Chinese mentality, but also the current laws concerning helping people.

If you help someone, order an ambulance, whatev, the bills usually go to you, the one who helped save someones life.

On top of that, if you help someone, people may consider you as a fake Samaritan, just wanting to look good for yourself and for wanting publicity instead of, you know, helping someone out of good will and humane actions, and may start hating you.

These aspects were largely discussed in the earlier thread.
