Holidays that you hate

valentines day. obv. also, thanksgiving is nice and all...but i really don't care about it whatsoever hahah
 
stuffing your face and watching football doesn't make you warm and happy inside? Thanksgiving is one of my favs.
 
valentines day, such a useless holiday, all it does is force you to spend money on expensive gifts for your "special someone" who will most likely dump you in a month when you find out they've been fucking some guido......

seriously though, i've been looking forward to presidents day since Jan 2nd. No, I didn't get MLK day off.
 
Halloween,its basically an excuse for overweight cops to put on bike shorts and pedal around sticking their nose into any and everything in sight.
 
The time between Halloween and Christmas. Both holidays are very fun and I love the early season skiing between but I hate christmas music because its the same 4 songs over and over and my mom listens to it those whole 2 months.
 
yo, you guys can't be serious?! How on earth could Halloween be your most hated holiday? Halloween is one of the very few holidays that kicks ass. It is #1 on my list of favourite holidays. You get to dress up (awesome!), get free candy (double awesome - as long as you are/look young enough), and there's always an awesome party (triple awesome - as long as you are/look old enough).

I just can't see how you could hate halloween... you kids are crazy.

To answer your question though. Valentine's Day is completely retarded. And every year I hate Christmas more and more... since when did giving become the meaning behind Christmas? We need to either stop being so heavy with our giving or just stop celebrating it and start celebrating Winter Solstice instead - at least there's no controversy behind Winter Solstice.

you're stupid, its not about hating black people it's about how they have their own special month. By giving them a month to celebrate, it goes against the idea of everyone being equal. If there was a white history month people would go ape shit and say its racist. Thats not equal at all and its why black history month is whack
 
its a time to smoke a bowl and walk for hours on end, i dont know why but i always have fun doing it.
 
family day. i dont know why we have it. its sooo gay. but its a day off from schoool so w.e i couldnt care really. ill go skiing or something
 
mother's day. every year i'm a slave to my mother's petty chores. i love my mom, but i HATE doing stupid shit that would never be done by ANYONE especially not my mom if it wasn't mother's day
 
halloween only sucks for that few years when you're too old to go out, and too young to spend the night drinking or at a party.

the rest i'm ok with, because i get school/work off which is a valued thing. Presidents day for example finally gives me a rest from soccer to go skiing.

Though i'm a fan of all holidays. Christmas sort of has been ruined the last few years, but just because i worked in retail, and while its fun with other people you work with, it gets really stressful and crazy
 
everything that involves me being with my family and anything relating to the black culture not that I hate black people I have black friends but they arent special
 
i'm not a fan of black history month, it's like saying "Hey, we're equal, but let's celebrate us being different due to the color of our skin and nothing else"

 
christmas is the only holiday worth keeping. its the only time i get to see my whole family. I don't know about some of you, but i like my family, so its nice to see them all at least once a year.

And if you consider "breaks", holidays, then summer and march break are obviously good in my books
 
Valentines day i'll be skiing alone, and then i will be putting a bottle to my face that night, alone. then i will wake up and go skiing again.i'd rather spend the day with my skis and the night with a bottle of wine, only things in life that are reliable anyway.no im not bitter..
 
Anyone who doesn't like Halloween clearly isn't in college haha. As for holidays that I hate, it's got to be Valentine's Day. It's a day to tell your significant other what you probably tell them all the time, but this time you have to buy them stuff. Speaking of which, anybody got any good gift ideas?
 
ha, i know what you mean though. you don't need to do anything special for your skis. They are good friends who will treat you well anyways.

sounds a bit like my valentines day. I'll spend the day borderline suicidal (no skiing to be done) until i drink myself into a coma that night
