Holiday valley Opening

Ok, as I'm sure most of you know, Holiday is looking at Friday as their opening day. They are going to start making snow on Saturday and then hope to be open on the 29th, and they are fairly confident that they will be. Who all will be there on Friday? I'm 99.9% sure i will be there.

do you know if there guna put any of their rails up, or how many trails theyll have open

last year they only had two rails and I wouln't count on them being up anytime soon, but maybe it could be.

 
the site says there getting a mailbox and funbox this year, but yeah i doubt they will have them up any time soon

yeah, I was just out at Holiday yesterday scoping out sme rails and they were blowing snow already. The temps are going to stay really cold this week and we may get some nice snow by the end of the week. So they should be open on friday.

 
so is it supposed to be cold for good now?

Yeah Yeah HV is totaly going to be able to open on friday!! Konck on wood, Il be there friday and saturday!!!!!!!

They may have rails if mardi gras is open who knows.....!

Hey guys, I run the freeride ski team at HV, sorry to burst your bubble but I'd doubt that they'll be putting up rails the first weekend. Unfortunately its not a priority for them yet. I'll be down the next weekend for some clinics i'm forced to attend.. bah.. anyways i'll look into getting those rails up soon and also getting our new stuff build and set up

 
Hopefully there wll be some smooth rollers from the snowmaking tho. Those are always fun. Either way, skiing is skiing.

Yes SkierX is right..Holiday Valley just sent me their daily email and they are pushing it back till Saturday..and that kinda sounded iffy too for they might just have ONE run open, Yodeler. They also said Fawn Lane, a green could be open but most likely not..in other words see you guys next weekend!

I'd put my money on KB tho since they've been slaughtered with Lake Effect snow pretty much all day today. They should have a lot by now.
