figures its always the same with them...they need better management..ya think we could pool our money and buy the rangers? the rangers need Mike Richter in goal..Mark Messier as center...adam graves and brian leetch on defense and it would matter too much who the wings were because that set up rocked the mid to late 90's..i remember 1 game a ways back against winnipeg i think...they had 6 goals in about the first 15 minutes..it was crazy

They need good Chemistry. It took GLEN SATHER like seven games to actually get a win. The Rangers are just a bunch of all stars thrown on the ice. They don't have team chemistry.
Ottawa has had a few years to build a real chemistry around Coaches Jaques Martin, Perry Pearn and Don Jackson, also around core players such as Alfie, Redden, Bonk and Hossa. You can totally see the confidence in the entire team, that is why I think the Sens can actually go all the way this year.

Ottawa has had a few years to build a real chemistry around Coaches Jaques Martin, Perry Pearn and Don Jackson, also around core players such as Alfie, Redden, Bonk and Hossa. You can totally see the confidence in the entire team, that is why I think the Sens can actually go all the way this year.

Yeah, the Rangers will never be good unless they get a good management team that knows hockey. Obviously, their farm system is crap, because they have to go on a free agent spending spree every year, and their coaches are all blundering idiots.
And Avs washed up?? We have so many young players that are amazing, it's not even funny. Vrbata, HEJDUK, Reinprecht, Morris, Muir, Aebischer, Hinote, FORSBERG, plus the Hershey Bears our farm team have a million promising guys. Even if Roy and Sakic leave soon, we'll be set for at least the next 5 years.
We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

I hate the sens so, much I don't know why... maybe its because they are good and they shouldn't be, but mainly I think its because I hate alfredsson alot.
There's something about him. It really pissed me off last year when he hit tucker from behind and then scored right away.
As for farm teams... I couldn't care less really, especially seeing that all the players are spread out.

If a team is good when they shouldn't be, isn't that more reason to like them? And the Alfie hit was just him following through on his checks. That's what they teach you to do, and is one of the main reasons why he's our captain. Granted once in a while you mis-time your checks, but hate the refs for not calling it, not Alfie.
I think you just hate Ottawa because you're a Leafs fan, and because of the short but intense rivalry between the teams. It's actually part of what makes sports great. I just hope that you can be happy for Ottawa and the Nation when we bring cup up north where it belongs.

I think you just hate Ottawa because you're a Leafs fan, and because of the short but intense rivalry between the teams. It's actually part of what makes sports great. I just hope that you can be happy for Ottawa and the Nation when we bring cup up north where it belongs.

But if there's hate to be rightfully given out it's to the rangers... those bastards are ruining the league.
And/or Pat Quinn, for being himself... but thats for a long rant that I'm not going to write, at least not now.

I only hate 3 teams in the NHL, Buffalo Sabres, NJ Devils and NY Islanders. Those 3 teams are bullshit, I like Brodeur, but I hate the rest of the Devils, certainly Scott Stevens. I hate Peca and the whole Islanders team, and I started hating Buffalo when they had Barnaby and Hasek, and I still hate them, enev those those 2 are long gone.
I like Ottawa cause their Canadian and I cheer for all the Canadian teams, I just like the leafs the best, but if Ottawa takes out the Leafs in the playoffs I'm definantly still going to cheer for Ottawa in the next round. I also like Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Montreal alot.
As for the rest of the league. I like St. Louis, Los Angeles and Minnisota, cause there all good, but still sort of underdogs, Los Angeles should be doing alot better than they are right now though.

Ottowa is the most deserving team in the East, and they're pretty cool, but I have to say there's too much competition from the West for them to stand any chance in the Finals. The east overall is so weak it explains their good record.
