Hitchhiking in europe

so basically im planning to hitchhike this summer with a couple of friends but we cant figure out what is a really cool city to go to. and ofcourse we need to party.

were from holland so berlin will be to close, and we dont really like to go to poland cause we dont like to be killed and raped and stuff...

any suggestions?
 
nah got some pretty friends so they will probably get raped,

Prague is also cool, but can you party there? the last time i was there i was 15 and ive only seen hookers
 
Budapest, Croatia (Dubrovnik/Split), South of france, Florence, Venice

You can party anywhere in Europe, as long as you have enough money....
 
Some friends of mine hitchhiked all the way to Morocco from London, sounded super fun.

Hitched with a truck driver across the channel, then on down through france and spain and then across the strait of Gibraltar to Morocco.

 
Ive heard on Friday nights in Paris people go and get crazy underneath the ifle tower. Sounds like it would be sick! Not sure if true though.
 
barcelona is sick for nightlife, plus you have the beach during the day.

london is awesome but expensive,

edinburgh is definitely worth a visit, though pretty much all the students have gone now so will be pretty quiet until the festival

greek islands? mykonos is well fun, santorini is more chilled but still fun.

and prague also has a good nightlife.

Lots and lots of cheap and awesome beer and I dont think the women are that bad either :D

But I should probably make advertisement for germany since I come from here, but whatever :D

Berlin and Hamburg are pretty cool, munich is an awesome place to be too!

no but seriously --> huge worm lake, crazy city, girls of all sorts (internationnal vibe overhere), liquor for all at 16 years of age, ganja fi blazin out and wakeboard/chill the whole day. seriously, its great. theres even a whole chill camp for backpackers right by the side of the lake.
 
personally, i'd go to the alps because i just fucking love mountains and snow and shit !

but otherwise i'd say Spain/southern france atlantic coast for surfing/beach fun or czech rep or poland for cheapness, friendly people and still pretty decent beer + you have amazing nature there !

 
Head to Warsaw, I've been here for the past 18 days and have loved everyday of it. So cheap here, incredibly beautiful women, and amazing beer
 
get down to Ibiza (yes its on an island, get to a ferry and then take it over and rageeee)
 
haha, i'm actually going there this summer :)

a friend of mine is a windsurf instructor on formentera (sister island) and in the winter i fixed him a skitrip, 4 days for like 50euro all-in and he wanted to repay it to me by teaching me windsurfing :)
 
Wow, that's insanely sick! What days are you going? Look to see if there are any shows and have a ball in your down time!

People are generally friendly, it shouldn't be that much of a problem. Things that will help are boobs and language-skills.
 
hitch-hiking is fine; done it all over the US and in the Caribbean. keep in mind that couples (especially over the age of 40) are often the most generous and safest option if that's what you're worried about, also hitchhiking with multiple males can be hard, try and get a girl in there (it definitely helps passing motorists feel safer about picking you up. however, it really doesn't matter some of the coolest people I've met hitchhiking have been young thuggish looking guys
