Hey guys,

It's been a while since I have made a thread! I'm working at backcountry.com as a gearhead on the chats so if you ever need help ordering, making returns, or just want to talk about gear you can get on chat and request me. What did tap water do to you to make you loathe it so greatly? I bet you hate kittens and babies just as much as you hate the environment.

if you want to sell some 16-18 din bindings for a reasonable price (30% off retail at least) I'm interested.

Only skis I want are Volkl Shiros in 203 length (I have 2012 versin in 193 and am butthurt as hell I didn't buy the newer longer ski) I don't see any 2013s on your site and evo sold out of the 203s already before dropping the price but if you can sell 2014s for cheap I'd probably get them.

Looks like you sold those sweet 1,000 dollar avy backpacks :(. I wanted one but obviously on the cheap.
 
why does everyone get so mad about offering deals? I made a thread like this a while back and people got butt hurt too. we're not trying to just boost our stats, we get plenty of sales, trust me.

Am I the only one who has legitimately used one of those chat things and said a bunch of weird shit to those people? My friends and I did it for like an hour when I was like 14...
 
yeah, one of the orange names on here used to be one of the chat guys on BC.com and used to give an extra 20% off stuff if you asked him for the NS discount.

Probly a fairly similar deal.

why do i get the feeling that backcountry.com will hire about anyone reguardless of if you have never put a foot in the sidecountry or even own any gear?oh ps sun-mon might be better sun&mon unless there is an extra day in there i'm missing
 
Thats a rude judgment, there are other things out there other than skiing as well. Some people know their shit about climbing gear, others are all about kayaking. It's a big family of people that love outdoor sports. If you are trying to talk to someone about really advanced gear we connect you to somone that we know has a lot of knowledge. One of our main guidelines is not to try to sell something ot a customer that they won't love. If we don't have something they are looking for advice them to look somewhere else. We are awesome
 
Well I actually PMd her a little while ago asking about the possibility of dealz and she didn't even return my message. So yeah, notsomuch if you're just tryin to get your metrics up and suddenly give a fuck lol...

 
ha ijust ordered a couple of packages from there. got a dope ass smith hoodie, some iski sunglasses, and a couple of tshirts. really like the stuff, but i wasnt a fan on one of the packages that was about $150 being charged a $54 duty fee. the fuuuuck.

good to know, though. i've done a lot of shopping of backcountry before. love the selection, and lots of other places wont ship to canada (and i think you're even a little selective on some of your brands..)

 
Ya we don't send some brands out but you could always ship them to a friend in the state for free and have them ship it to you
 
The hell with all these assholes. I'm a be asking for Brooklyn whenever I go on Backcountry's site regardless if I need help. She's a rad girl and housed me once a few years ago when I needed a roof for the night. And she rides on Moment Night Trains which is badass.
 
agreed. From what ive seen on here shes always been a straight up person and understands what the NS experience is all about haha. One of the good people in the industry.

Plus, shes a fuckin' cutie!
