History of Our Sport

For English class at school, I'm supposed to write a research report on the history of something that interests me. Of course I thought of doing it on freestyle skiing, but I don't really know much about it. I'm 15, so I obviously wasn't around for the beginning of it, but from what I've seen some of you older members know a lot. I'll obviously look it up and do research for what's online, but I figured NS could have a lot of cool facts and stuff about dudes like michael descheneaux. thanks guys! +k for anything I could use

>Tanner Hall sw rodeo 7 gold medal

>Salomon 1080 ski

>The first dub corks

>Trips

>Not too many years in between of those things

Those things need to be mentioned. Try google and NS search bar, they will help you on your quest.

watch transitions by riley poor and simon dumont. The beginning of it gives you a really good story on our freestyle skiing came to be.

Like A Lion gives you some background on it as well.

people need to start realizing that doing school projects on freeskiing never works out. It cannot be expressed the way that we all love freeskiing no matter how my reallys you put before the awesome

Checkout Shane McConkey changed powder skiing forever video and the origin of the twin tip skis (first companies to produce them.)

It's always difficult to know who came up with an idea first, who produced a product based on them first, and who commercialized them first. Claims can always be repudiated. Most power if obtained by being incumbent (in power already,) and then stealing or poaching other ideas before they rise. I see it happen a lot.

thank you kind sirsand to the guy who said freestyle ski projects never work out: who cares, i'd rather do it on something i enjoy than something i don't!

Talk excessively about screamin semens and you will no doubt ace the paper. Also make the title "How I Came to love the SCREAMIN SEMEN" and make direct eye contact with your teacher while handing it in.
