Hintertux, Austria vs Saas Fee, Switzerland for Summer Skiing

I'm looking to plan a summer ski trip to either of the two areas in Europe in summer to rip some park in August. Any chance anyone knows which is a better deal and has better jumpline?

By better deal do you mean financially? If so, you can stop right there and note that Switzerland's day to day cost are going to pile up 10x faster than in Austria. If you are saying you are on a budget, just eating in Switzerland adds up fast.

If you're looking for the cheapest place with the most stable conditions and a big jib park, you should visit our indoor place in Germany ;). Only thing we don't have is a big jump.

It's few years I want to spend some days in Saas-Fee, but as a uni student I can't afford it. So, if you want to stay low budget I can suggest you Les Deux-Alpes. Park is pretty nice: jumps are pretty big and the jib line is pretty long. You have a lot to do in the afternoon and night life isn't that bad too

For jump line, i would say Hintertux more than Saas Fee, and way more than Les Deux Alpes. But people are right, L2A is a pretty cheap option. The only one open currently is Zermatt, and park seems sick af (but 70chf a day ......)

It's in the north of Germany near Hamburg. We have a big park there in the summer from the beginn of June till the end of September.

A little bit too far from France, but it looks awesome. Landgraaf is a shorter way and it seems pretty sick too. I don't know about amneville, the only ski dome in France. Never skied indoor, price are more interesting than summer skiing in the Alpes ...

Yep, unfurtonately a little bit far.

Landgraaf is probably the second best indoor place after Bispingen. As far as I know there isn't a park in Amneville.

Just been checking out the website - looks awesome. Did you say it's just open from early June until September? The website suggests it's open all year..? Maybe it's my german translation which is bad though haha.

Actually it is open all year but I would only recommend it during the period from June to October because only then the big setup is available. During Winter there is only a small park with two beginner lines.

Thanks for the info. Are there usually still smaller beginner lines in the summer too? It would still be fun just with beginner lines if I went sometime before the big setup

Yes, we have at least one line with boxes and various other easy features like small tubes.
