Hiking Mad River

Anyone else going up tomorow? Feel free to join me. I think the snow is gonna be real sticky so not great for making turns but my friend and I are going to set up a lip on this drop under the single (under the real sketchy section below the mid station) and session that.

well if you like long lines and paying lots of money for not so much skiing, then I would choose killy. If you like working a little extra to ski and sessioning a nice drop without crowds, choose mad river

i have 2 friends that skinned a few laps at the river yesterday, and they said it was sick..you should have a good time for sure

I just got back. It was some fun stuff! We were catching some mungo air, bra! It was pretty fun really. So tiring though. Between the hiking and skiing in deep heavy snow, i am pretty spent

killington was pretty good today, i got switch up on the flat down, it was fun. Some guy went to jump on to this box, and both fronts of his tips went into the wooden part of the box, and he flew over it and slide it on his stomach, we were laughing for like 10 minutes strait, and then he couldn't get his ski out.

if that was the one that happened earlier in the day at the top flat box, that was me, except for the ski getting stuck part. i was laughing histerically at that, imagining myself doing that from another perspective. def. wish a cam was there. i was the kid with the khaki coat and green pants and the 12's

the river was sick as of thursday, but it got a little manky around the bottom 3rd. top 2/3 was sick though. defineatly enough snow for the drop. im thinking about heading up a couple more times this fomign week, maybe wednesday/ friday if the snows still good. anyone down? itd be after school, but a headlamp mission could be sick for multiple runs

I heard from my friend that the boxes there were like 4000 mph. like you would go on with little speed and come off like a bat out of hell
