Hiking in nj

i think one time was enough. ill only go again when they drain the lake so we can go island hopping again with our makeshift bridges and shit
 
they should probably split the state in half. south jersey is generally clean, has nice golf courses, and has some quality beaches (wildwood excluded). north jersey has the stench wafting in from nyc, the stench from the trash from nyc, and the stench from the dirty people that crowd mtn creek on weekends to the point of their "lodge" bordering on the firecode limit.
 
it's awesome how every single post about new jersey comes back to it being the armpit of the united states and it's lack of clenliness haha
 
jersey actually isn;t very dirty i meen yes we do have some landfills but doesn;t everystate? northern jersey is just as nice as southern jersey no diff cept for the only mt in jersey so stop bashing at jersey cuz some ppl say it smells
 
yea i think we were all just busting on Jersey.

its actaully Pennsylvania that takes the most trash than any other state in the US.
 
yeah but north jersey is still the asshole of new york, and south jersey is the armpit of philly.
 
actually NJ got the name dirty jersey because there use to be a lot of pig farms around the state and it smelled bad

as for landfills...

theres an incredible amount of them arond the meadowlands but other than that, theres not a lot
 
here in PA we send all of our trash to jersey because it is in fact on giant landfill which was already noted by steve
 
high point is cool but its pretty standard Jersey AT, jersey side of Delaware water gap is cool with sunfish pond and the cliffs.
 
haha I live there, there are some very nice parts of bergen county and also some parts that aren't very nice. A huge range of income within about 20 miles.

To nice hiking places, Ramapo reservation in Mahwah in bergen county is pretty nice. Also, about 20 minutes outside of New Jersey is Harriman State park in NY, which is HUGE and really nice. I suggest looking into those 2 places
