Troy Murdough (Tripleback_Troy) and I went to the 9pm showing of it last night. It was pretty much 90% snowboarders in the crowd (which became blatently obvious when all of the cheering came during Victoria Jealouse and Travis Rice's segments). They won the majority of the prizes, too, I think including a pair of Scratches, but at least a sick freeskier won the Sony camera.

Anyway, have any of y'all gone to the premiere, and if so, what did you think of it?

I personally thought it had some sick parts (Candide's whole segment, for example), but it was a lot like Subject to Change and even had some clips from there. All in all, I didn't really think it was anything special, but like I said, there were some sick runs. Oh, and it made me crave going to Europe SOOO bad.

Oh yeah, and some guy around sixteen or seventeen who was sitting next to us with his girlfriend ended up getting up, kicking Troy multiple times, and then moving to another seat with the chick because Troy kept hootin' and howling at the sick freeskiing parts, and he knew who all of the skiers and snowboarders were before their names popped up. I think the kid was a snowboarder because he said he was friends with the kid who won the Scratches and neither Troy or I had seen him before. Oh well, dumb kid.

That review sounds pretty shitty... I've always liked TGR and I thought that High Life was gonna be one of the sickest films this year. I didn't like Subject to Change, though.... hmmm. I guess I'll just have to see it for myself. Portland Super Show represent!

i went tonight too i dont know it didnt really do it for me it had some sick footage the switch back off the cliff for example but over all i wasnt too stoaked on the movie

if you ski outside of the park you will enjoy this movie. crazy pow segemnts, some nutty lines, good music. the best TGR movie i've seen.

Hahaha, Pete I've posted in here before... Just not very often and not for a while because questions always get answered before I get to them, and the same shit is always asked. Besides, NSG is more enlightening usually
