High Cascade is no longer....

so are they keeping that skatepark they built on the side of the general store last summer and if so is it open to the public now?

It sounds like they are moving all the youngins down to windells and their lodge in govy is going to be for 21+ campers. The skateparks and trampolines will stay in govy but its unlikely that they'd leave them open to the public.

That thing gets built every summer and torn down at the end. All HCSC facilities are rebuilt and taken down in May/August. HCSC literally rents out half the town in order to operate.

Long Story Short: No - HCSC is not shutting down!!! Some parts of camp will be rather different but it will still be operating and after a couple transitions years will probably be running at the same capacity, just in a new location.

Currently, HCSC campers have the option of staying at the lodge or chalets in govy or a cabin at windells. I'd say roughly 25%-30% of HCSC campers stay at Windells depending on the session. Which makes up an equally significant portion of our campers down here.

Next year, all HCSC campers 20 years old and younger will be moving down to Windells. Adult camp will still remain in govy. That's it, that's all! No one is going out of business!
