Hey NJ kids, EAS on your TV?

Did anybody else see EAS on there cable box display. My bet would be emergency alert system. Apparently somebody was kidnapped in Elizabeth and they put out an amber alert. If you turn on your tv it comes on every so often not matter what channel I think and you can't change it.

At the nj state police, site, njsp.org you can see the flashing "New Jersey's amber alert ACTIVATED" text flashing. I tried clicking on it but it doesn't work. Scary shit.
 
1000th post, may as well be something important.

Here's an image, taken like a minute ago. They basically said a black male hijacked a red nissan rouge or something and took the kid in it. He was last seen in new brunswick or trenton, I forget which. New brunswick is really close to me.

They found the kid and the car in Newark, so all is good. They're quick with this kinda stuff now, pretty impressive.
