I'm not looking for any colored light crap or street racing stuff, blue coatings on the bulbs make them darker anyway. I just want to get new lights for my 04 forester. Mine aren't too bright and I just cleaned the headlights and figured the bulbs could use replacing. I've been looking at nasioc but there's so many bulbs and whatnot. Anybody know anything good? Apparently Osram silverstars are something nasioc likes? But they apparently don't like silverstars by sylvania, but when I go to the site it says osram sylvania so... are they the same people or what.

tl:dr I jsut want new headlights for a subaru forester 04, no colored crap.

I bought silverstar 'ZXE' headlight bulbs from walmart for my '03 Forester. Don't be turned off by the blue color of the glass, the actual beam is a pure white light that is that is the brightest beam I've seen from a halogen bulb. They are expensive, and have a shorter lifetime than a standard halogen bulb, but I feel like it's worth it.
 
Came in here to post about these. I used to have the Silverstar Ultra's and switched to these when they came out. Worth the money but they will burn out quicker than a regular halogen because they burn hotter.
