Hey any/everyone who lives out there in canmore, banff, or just that area...I'm on my way for the summer. my buddy who was meant to come decided to stay with his girlfriend, so I'm on my own. So If you see a 19 year old white guy learning to mountain bike (or just hanging around trails wearing a lot of casts...I've never tried it before but it sounds sick) or longboarding, or skiing on a homemade box or whatever come say hi. My names Ben, I'll be up on Lawrence Grassi ridge somewhere.

Holla Alberta, I'll Be Seeing You In A Week If My Car Doesn't Break Down On The Way.

you picked the wrong time to be in banff. In the summer it's just japanese tourists taking pictures of roadkill. Come in the winter and ski!

I'm coming back next winter with some friends as well. And yeah, I've been there in the summer and the asian invasion is INSANE. I remember walking into a store and trying to buy something, and discovering that the store attendant couldnt understand english. mandarin, Check. Japonese, check. Probably swahili or something, check. Either of canada's langauges? NOPE.

Anyway I leave here tomorrow morning, I'll hit alberta in about 5 days.

umm they come no matter what, its like asian peoplke are cats, and canada: (BC) is its catnip....and i dunno why they come so much, arent they afraid we might capture them and put them in POW camps just like WW2

Those pow camps were blown way out of proportion and at the time were a sound idea. World war two claimed the lives of too many Canadians we couldnt be too cautious. I say we still cant be too cautious and need to restrict our immigration laws from the orientals. For the japanese are not to be trusted in these times. Their economic power and their close proximity to North Korea make them a risky ally.

^well said, they could turn on us and surprise attack us just like when they did it to the USA in Pearl Harbour
