I had the choice to read either that shit or Slaughterhouse-5 in english. I went with the latter, better choice.
 
i mean, dont get your expectations up to much, its probably not going to "do justice to the book," but when have movies ever? since so much of the book takes place inside the minds of the characters analyzing their thoughts, the books have the ability to go into way farther depth than can be translated onto a movie screen. all I'm really excited for is the characters becoming real people, and watching trippy ass scenes in the Battle Room.

plus im definitely going to go back reread the books now.
 
Ender's Game is one of my favorite books (also read Ender's Shadow) but I am not getting my hopes up for the movie. The only way the movie would work would be to make it Rated R but I'm pretty sure it's going to be PG-13.

He killed 2-3 kids in pretty gruesome fashion in the book but they will change that for the movie. They will probably pussy it down to like Hunger Games or something.
 
This. I fucking love that book...and most of the ones that came after, actually. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
 
WHO GIVES A FUCK IF THEY fuck up the movie? its not the book so its not going to be the same. when people complain about the movie being different, they sound like idiot.
 
No I've had high hopes that this would be a movie. It's science fiction the shit is always hit or miss. I think they could do some awesome scenes with the battle room and the battles in space. But if they're not done correctly it's gonna end up like any other cheesy science fiction movie.

i have read that fucking book more times than i can count...i guarantee this movie will be a fuck up, unless they make it as gruesome as the book.
